The Netherlands consists for 16% of water; for centuries bridges make our lives more comfortable by creating the shortest route. For some communities, bridges are essential since they are the connection between the people and schools, markets or medical clinics. Either for convenience or for vital purposes, bridges are an integral and high valued part of urban infrastructure.

Usually, it takes months to realize the bridge from the first idea/need until the bridge can be used. When the bridge elements are printed this time can be reduced up to 75%. Since it can be designed/ordered today, printed tomorrow and hoisted the day after. In this case, it can be used within one week.

WE BELIEVE IN STEP BY STEP DEVELOPMENT

DURABLE

Furthermore, the 3D printed bridges need less maintenance and are more durable compared to a timber bridge. If after a while the bridge is not needed anymore it can be transported to another location where it can be re-used. If relocating is no option the bridge can be crushed. The crushed material can be used to print new applications like walls of buildings, sewer pits, benches etc. This makes these bridges circular solutions.

We believe in step by step development. That’s why we focus on footbridges first before building bridges to cross canals.
