Dutch 3D concrete printing company, CyBe, has opened a company in Florida and is planning to build several housing projects in the United States. Founded in 2013, CyBe Construction brings a decade of knowledge and experience from worldwide 3D concrete printing projects. CyBe’s North American branch will support the company’s growth in the coming years.

Berry Hendriks, founder and CEO of CyBe Construction, says, “We see excellent opportunities to expand our U.S. investments even further in the coming years and we are specifically focused on the country’s sustainable housing market. Knowledge and experience in 3D concrete printing

CyBe Construction Florida LLC will be led by Florida native James Light. James has been involved in 3D concrete printing for the past 6 years and successfully 3D printed the first permitted home in Florida in 2021 using a Cobod system. James has been a Certified Building Contractor in Florida since 2007 operating a small family construction company out of his hometown of Tallahassee, Florida. James brings industry knowledge and experience in integrating 3d printed structures into the mainstream construction processes. His passion for finding solutions for affordable housing coupled with a focus on innovative construction methods is in step with CyBe’s philosophy. “Berry and his CyBe team have a holistic approach to what is a very fragmented construction industry. Their priorities are what are so appealing to me as a builder in the industry and why I believe CyBe will have long term success. James houdt zich al 6 jaar bezig met 3D-betonprinten en heeft in 2021 met succes het eerste toegestane huis in Florida 3D-geprint met behulp van een Cobod-systeem. James is sinds 2007 erkend aannemer in Florida en heeft een klein familiebouwbedrijf in zijn woonplaats Tallahassee, Florida. James brengt industrie kennis en ervaring in het integreren van 3D geprinte structuren in de reguliere bouwprocessen. Zijn passie voor het vinden van oplossingen voor betaalbare woningen in combinatie met een focus op innovatieve bouwmethoden sluit aan bij de filosofie van CyBe. “Berry en zijn CyBe team hebben een holistische benadering van wat een zeer gefragmenteerde bouwindustrie is.
