Lybrary

For all 3D concrete printing knowledge and experiences

The CyBe Lybrary

The CyBe Lybrary is founded with the purpose to stimulate and coordinate new construction methods – such as 3Dconcrete printing & parametric design.
The ultimate goal is to not just gather information, but to share it.

“You can’t revolutionize an entire industry on your own. At CyBe, we work together.”

CyBe Community
The CyBe Community is an online platform where you and other 3DCP enthousiasts can connect, communicate and discuss everything 3DCP. CyBe Employees are active on the platform and will start talks and can always be approached for discussions.
Print Software
CyBe Print Software is what allows you to go from a 3D Model in the digital space, to an actual printed model of concrete. This software currently includes our slicer, CHYSEL, and our robot control program ARTYSAN.
3D Modelling Tools
CyBe Modelling Software/Tools are convenient tools used (and created) by our own Desginers and Engineers for various purposes. Some examples are an Offset Checker, a Segmentation tool and Parametric Design tools. These tools will speed up your modelling process and make sure that your creations are in fact according to our printable standards.
View single 3D Models
Distinguishing Standalone (Single) models and Packages. Single 3D Models are a good way to see how we work and set up our prints.
Edit single 3D Models
CyBe’s designers often work with Parametric modes, as a result we are able to provide the convenience of Parametric Design to our users through the CyBe Lybrary.
Download single 3D Models
Viewing a Model allows for reverse-engineering and insight into CyBe’s workflow, the ability to edit gives you space to create your own interesting designs and specifications while staying withing the boundaries of what is printable. Downloading your own creations is a seperate functionality. We provide your model as a .3dm file, this is a Rhinoceros 3D filetype. As such, you may need Rhino (or similar 3D software) to use your model after downloading.
View 3D Model Packages
CyBe’s Model Packages can be any number of things: Several small planters, a number of Benches, or even a complete housing concept. We always ensure the printability of our packages, even the big housing concepts. Odds are that these models havebeen printed during one of our (global) projects.

Printable Code
Printable Code is the result of using CyBe’s CHYSEL (slicing software) to create a document which essentially notes XYZ coordinates for our CyBe R(C) 3Dp to read and maneuver to. Normally this would require CHYSEL, though we can provide printable code of the (parametric) models in the Lybrary.
Access the Knowledgebase
The Knowledgebase is divided into sections regarding Software, Hardware, Tactical/Strategical content as well as documentation about our Material. Different Subscriptions will have different access depending on the topic(s), nature and confidentiality of the posts. Free Users have no access to the knowledgebase. Pro users will be able to access documentation on software and they can find information about 3DCP Operations and tactical levels.
Educational Manuals
On the CyBe Academy (subsection of the Cybe Lybrary) we provide various methods of remote education. It is used by CyBe Employees, clients and now anyone with an interest in 3DCP. We create educational content on a few topics (3DCP Operator, 3D Design and Tactical/Strategical levels). Free users have no access to this platform. Pro users will be able to access remote education about Design (guides/manuals, videos & webinars) and get access to Operator and Tactical-related content to.

Educational Webinars
Free users only can attend live webinars. Pro users are able to watch webinars on demand and can suggest topics for new webinars.

Educational Games
A big part of Remote-Learning and preparation for 3DCP Operators involves getting familiar with the processes of 3D Concrete Printing. As such we develop Educational Games that allow us to simulate the (inter)actions regarding all of the systems revolving around Concrete printing. These include our Mix-Pump-System, the Crawler, the Robot itself but also our Heating/Cooling units, communication between Operators and the different roles that come into play between Operators while performing a print. Due to the nature of these games, they require a lot of development time and as such may not be readiliy available yet.
Q&A & Support
The ability to forward your ideas, suggestions, questons, reccomendations and ideas directly towards CyBe’s employees. They will take your comment to apply it to future content (such as directly during or into webinars, create additional content or supply a more in-depth look).
Download Educational Content
Downloadable content from the CyBe Academy, this allows for offline usage and sharing the content with colleagues as applicable. Some of the content may come with restricted use to ensure confidentiality.
What to expect

Additional Information

The CyBe Lybrary runs on four stage principles, these four principles combined, result in an easy-access method of improving your 3DCP experience. As such you’ll gain access to the CyBe ‘Academy’ where we provide online ‘remote learning’ courses to teach you everything about all aspects of 3D Concrete Printing, from Operational and Design levels, all the way up to Strategical and Tactical levels.

On top of that, we also have our Knowledge base located here, where we keep, archive and maintain every document related to 3D Concrete printing and the CyBe systems. This includes, but is not limited to User Manuals, Maintenance Manuals and Tests with their results.

Additionally, we provide a selection of our 3D Model/Design library, where you can access frequently updated Printable models to simply download or adjust to your own desire through editable/parametric online design tools.

Furthermore, we are also providing software for a variety of purposes such as Printing Software (Like our own CyBe CHYSEL, a 3D Model slicer), various Modelling Tools to streamline your design process and increase productivity, as well as Parametric Tools which will iterate varieties of models, layouts and general construction methods by the thousands.

All educational content is delivered through different media platforms. From simple documents and videos, all the way up to full-fledged certified courses and ‘serious’/’educational’ Games.
