Become a 3D concrete printer operator

What you will learn

In this 11-day course, you will gain experience in 3D concrete printing using our CyBe RC Robotic Crawler printer. After this course you will be able to safely work with the 3D concrete printing system, and you’ll be able to operate the Mix Pump System, Crawler system, and ABB Robotic arm.

During this training you will print various concrete elements, such as walls, furniture, and small objects, such as flower pots. In addition, you will use our slicing software (Chysel), maintain print statistics, and learn how to use Artysan, our software that controls the robotic arm.

Who this course is for

This training course is for everyone who is interested in 3D concrete printing and wants to learn how to operate the CyBe Robotic Crawler printer. Whether you are looking to work in construction in the future or are already working in the construction industry, this course will provide you with new, valuable knowledge and skills in the total process of operating a 3D concrete printer.

This 11-day training course is advised if you will be working with a 3D concrete printing system frequently. In addition to learning how to operate the system, you will gain comprehension of its underlying concepts and develop your skills as an expert operator.

Course fee

The price of this training is €5,275 per person, exclusing 21% VAT.

A minimum of three trainees are required for the course to begin with a maximum group size of 4. In case of cancellation, trainees will be notified 2 weeks in advance.

Additional information

Lunch will be provided by CyBe Construction. The online part of the course is accessible for 365 days after purchase on our CyBe Academy website. Travel and accommodation expenses are not included.

Start and finish times

The online course is always availability on CyBe Academy Website. In-Person training in Oss, the Netherlands starts at 9 am till 5 pm.

Program

The total training is 11 days, consisting of one full-day online e-learning training course, 8 full-day in-person training courses, and two full assessment days.

Online training
Through e-learning, you will learn about the system, the parts and elements of the printer, the print logistics, and the roles and communication of an operator. This can be completed at your own pace, whenever and wherever you want.

Introduction (day 1)
The first day is an introduction to 3D design and printing. Participants will learn the basics of 3D concrete printing through instructor-led classroom sessions and by observing the printing process.

Experiential Learning (day 2)
Practical cases and exercises will form the basis of the print execution. The purpose is to gain confidence and become competent in 3D printing and the printing process.

Execution (day 3-8)
The cases and exercises will increase in complexity, providing the participants with advanced experience.

Assessments (day 9-10)
An assessment will ensure the participants’ competence. Its purpose is to check if the participants are capable of carrying out the associated tasks within the expected timeframe.

Upon completion of the course, you will receive a certificate and an open badge from CyBe Construction. Course completion is based on attendance, active participation, and your 3D concrete printing operating skills. This certificate is highly valued in the industry. See the online badge here.
