Our Ohio-based partner, SCI, completed their first 1,300-square-foot home, printed with CyBe technology, in just eight days during their training!
The challenge
Sustainable Concrete Innovations (SCI) aims to keep the American Dream alive by ensuring housing prices remain affordable in the Midwest. In addition to building affordably, they focus on quickly producing a surplus of homes to drive costs down for everyone. Finally, as a material innovator committed to sustainability, they seek to use a future-proof building method. To achieve these goals, they sought a construction method that offers affordability, speed, and sustainability simultaneously.
The takeaways
CyBe printing technology proved to be the perfect solution in their search for affordable, quick, and sustainable building methods. During the construction of their first home using the CyBe RC, they demonstrated its potential. The 1,300-square-foot home was completed in just eight days of active printing. Even more impressively, it was achieved during their training, meaning they had never worked with CyBe technology before. Additionally, the home was built with sustainable materials and can be sold as an affordable option while still generating a profit.
The CyBe RC
Las Casitas were printed with our CyBe RC (Robot Crawler). This mobile 3D printer, leveraging its caterpillar tracks, can transport to virtually any location in any terrain. This way, it can be used for efficient on-site and off-site printing by easily moving your printer around your print site. With its superior print speed and performance, high-quality print strength and adhesion, and exceptional range, the CyBe RC is among the most efficient 3D concrete printers in the world.
